Governor Cuomo Wants To Name Bridge After His Dad

(Albany, NY) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo is trying to name the new Tappan Zee Bridge after his dad.

Last night, Cuomo introduced a bill to name the billion-dollar bridge after former Governor Mario Cuomo. Governor Cuomo waived the three-day waiting period to slip the bill in right before the deadline.

The Senate unanimously approved the change, but the State Assembly didn't vote on it due to the lack of time to decide on it.
