UPDATE:
City of Poughkeepsie Police are asking for anyone who witnessed a shooting this morning to come forward with information or video of the incident.
A Poughkeepsie teenager was shot in the neck while in the area of 47 Talmadge Street. The 18 year old man was transported to a local hospital and was undergoing surgery. Police say there was a group of people in the area at the time of the shooting. Anyone with helpful information is asked to call police at (845) 451-7577.

A man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was shot this morning in Poughkeepsie.
