The Dutchess County Fair is only about six weeks away and now the entry window is open for the hundreds of competitions at the Fair, including cattle, sheep, wool, horticulture, arts & crafts and many other categories.
The handbook and entry forms are online at www.dutchessfair.com and also available at many town and village halls. The deadline for entries is August first.

“Aside from the Exhibitor Handbook, the Fair's website www.dutchessfair.com also offers advance tickets to the August Fair at tremendous savings to fairgoers. Advance adult admission is $12 ($15 at the gate) and 10 ride tickets can be purchased for $20. Seniors & Military with valid ID are $10 each day. At the gate promotions include Tuesday’s $10 all day, Thursday’s promotion for adult admission is $7 after 5pm and on Sunday, Buy One Regular Admission, Get One Half Off. Children 11 years and under are admitted free each day.”
