State Police are inviting you to their Open House.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the New York State Police, Troop K is opening their doors on Saturday, July 15th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., at Troop K Headquarters, located at 2541 Route 44 in Salt Point.
“The open house will feature a variety of old and new State Police equipment including: Vintage patrol cars, historic memorabilia, the S.O.R.T Bearcat armored vehicle, as well as demonstrations by our Canine Unit, SCUBA Team, S.O.R.T Team, Mounted Unit, and State Police Aviation Unit. Members of our Major Crimes Unit, Forensic Identification Unit, Computer Crimes Unit, and Collision Reconstruction Unit will be available to answer the public’s questions.”
A shuttle van system will be set up with free parking available north of the State Police barracks at the Institute of Ecosystems Studies, 4799 Route 82 in Salt Point.
