Big Road Projects In The Hudson Valley

(Jefferson Valley, NY) -- More than 62-million dollars are being pumped into paving and repairing roads across the Hudson Valley.

The work will be done in Dutchess, Putnam, & Ulster counties this summer and fall. The work includes: 14 miles on the Taconic State Parkway from Interstate 84 in East Fishkill to Hortontown Road in Putnam County, also 4 miles on Route 9D from just north of Hudson Avenue to just north of Dogwood Lane and Route 376 from just south of Red Oaks Mill Road to Sheldon Drive in the towns of Fishkill and Lagrange.  Many other projects are on the docket.

The funding is part of more than 400-million for pavement improvements on nearly 17-hundred miles of roadways across New York State.
