One person is dead and two people are injured when two motorcycles are involved in a collision in Ulster County yesterday afternoon.
Detectives from the Ulster County Sheriff's Office say it happened on Burlingham Road at Twin Oaks Lane in the Town of Shawangunk. Two southbound Harley Davidsons were involved and the passenger on one of the bikes was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two bike operators were injured. One was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center.
“Members of Ulster County Sheriff's Office assisted by the New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) are in the preliminary stages of the investigation. Deputies were assisted by the Town of Shawangunk Police Department, STAT Flight, the Walker Valley Fire Department and the New York State Police.”
