Powerball Jackpot Climbs To 430 Million Dollars

(Albany, NY) -- Powerball fever is surging as tonight's jackpot climbs to 430-million-dollars.

That's the 12th largest prize in the history of U.S. lotteries. It's all because no one's hit the jackpot in more than two months. The cash payout for tonight's top prize is over 270-million dollars after taxes.

It costs just two bucks for a ticket but the odds of winning are about one-in-290-million.
