(New York, NY) -- An eye expert says dozens of people in New York City have sought help after the solar eclipse.
Doctor Avnish Deobhakta of the "New York Eye and Ear Infirmary at Mount Sinai" says those who were not in the "path of totality" from Oregon to South Carolina were at risk, if they weren't using proper eye protection. He says if you're having symptoms, you don't have to go to an emergency room, but should contact an eye specialist.
