(Albany, NY ) -- A local sailor is getting a statewide honor.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is ordering all state flags to be flown at half-staff today in honor of Corey Ingram from Poughkeepsie and the nine other sailors killed in the USS John McCain collision last week. The body of 28-year-old Information Systems Technician 2nd Class Corey George Ingram was found over the weekend. The Governor says the entire state grieves for Ingram and the others who lost their lives serving the nation that will be forever grateful for their service and sacrifice.
