(Albany, NY) -- The New York State fair is over and this year was marked by record-breaking attendance.
Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that nearly 125-thousand people came to the fair yesterday and that's a single-day record. Yesterday's fairgoers also contributed to breaking an all-time attendance record. Over one-point-one-million people visited the fair over its 13-day run. Cuomo says the Great New York Fair is enjoying a renaissance that will benefit the state's economy.
