Hundreds of people filed into the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie yesterday to say goodbye to Navy Sailor Corey Ingram.
The twenty eight year old naval officer died last month while serving on the USS John S McCain. The ship collided with an oil tanker in the South China Sea. During the funeral, Ingram was called a hero who was always there to lend a helping hand to family and friends and then made the ultimate sacrifice in service to his country.
