The Scheafe Road and Oak Grove Elementary schools in the Wappingers District dismissed early today because the buildings have no running water.
Teachers took attendance this morning and then dismissed the students to return home. Town of Poughkeepsie officials say a water main break on Spring Road should be resolved sometime today. Parts of the surrounding area including the schools have no water while others have low water pressure.
