(Minneapolis, MN) -- Target is giving its workers a raise.
The retail chain announced today it's raising its hourly minimum wage to 11-dollars an hour starting next month. The company also said it wants to have that boosted to 15-dollars-an-hour by 2020. The wage increase will apply to the 100-thousand seasonal workers Target plans to hire this holiday season. The federal minimum wage is seven-dollars-and-25 cents an hour.
