(New York, NY) -- NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio didn’t exactly sailing smoothly through today's Columbus Day Parade.
The mayor got occasional boos as he marched up Fifth Avenue. The half-Italian mayor ordered a review of all city statues for the possibility of removal and didn't give his opinion on the ones of Columbus. Meanwhile, turnout for what's one of the largest celebrations of Italian American culture seemed a bit lighter than usual with steady heavy rain throughout the parade.
