(Las Vegas, NV) -- The New York Mets appear to be pulling out of Las Vegas in favor of a closer location.
Syracuse.com reports the Mets are leaving Las Vegas and buying the Syracuse Chiefs and moving their affiliation to the International League team in 2019. The Mets plan to continue to use Las Vegas as its top minor-league affiliate for the 2018 season.
