A woman in her sixties was killed when her car struck a “wide-load” vehicle on Route 9-G.
State Police say the accident happened yesterday around 4pm when the passenger car was traveling southbound and the commercial vehicle was driving northbound near Palatine Park Road. The accident was just north of the Dutchess County line in Germantown. Police are withholding the name of the victim pending family notification. That area of 9-G was closed for several hours during the accident investigation.
