(Goshen, NY) -- A legoland amusement park is another step closer to becoming a reality in the Orange County town of Goshen.
After more than a year of looking into the proposal, the town's planning board is greenlighting a 500-million-dollar project. It would clear the way for an amusement park to open possibly in 2019 off Route 17. "The Times Herald Record" reports the town is still fighting some opposition from people who are calling for a vote to contest the selling off of land to project developers Merlin Entertainments.
