Local Teenagers Are Rescued From Sex Traffickers

(Brooklyn, NY) -- Two local teenagers are recovering after being rescued from sex traffickers in Brooklyn.

The girls were runaways, one 14 and the other 15, who left Ulster County and headed to Brooklyn last Wednesday to stay with "friends." They had no idea those "friends” allegedly would drug them, threaten them at knifepoint and plan to pimp them out for 100-bucks an hour. The teens were rescued when one of them was able to send a Facebook message to her Dad, giving her location.

Three 19-year-olds have been arrested and charged with rape, attempted sex trafficking and promoting prostitution.
