$2 Million Drug Bust In Poughkeepsie

Police say they recovered 2 million dollars worth of drugs at a home on Taylor Avenue in Poughkeepsie.  

 The New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team along with the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office, conducted the narcotics investigation. Forty-four year old Hughroy Thompson is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Possession of a Marihuana.  Police say they seized “approximately 12 kilograms of cocaine and 42 pounds of marihuana. The estimated street value of the illegal drugs is over two million dollars.”
