(Toms River, NJ) -- Sunday is the five year anniversary of Superstorm Sandy and many people in New York and New Jersey are still displaced.
Many are still dealing with financial hardships, unable to get enough grant money to cover the cost of raising their homes to comply with new storm codes. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie says one-thousand residents in his state are still not back in their homes. Superstorm Sandy caused about 75 billion dollars in damages in the United States.
