A section of Sherow Road in Pleasant Valley has reopened to traffic.
The Dutchess County Department of Public Works this week completed the culvert work over the Great Spring Creek. They say the work was done on schedule and within the budget. The construction work began in September and involved the replacement of the existing culvert and the addition of new guide rails and 4-foot shoulders over the culvert. The DPW says Sherow Road averages about 2,800 vehicles per day.
