(Middletown, NY) -- The suspect accused of shooting a gun inside a crowded mall near Middletown is pleading not guilty.
Michael Perez Rodriguez was arraigned in Wallkill Town court yesterday on reckless endangerment and assault charges. The Pennsylvania man turned himself in several days after allegedly firing a shot inside the Crystal Run mall in Orange County. Sunday's gunfire injured a mother and son, but it's not clear if it was an accidental discharge.
