(New York, NY) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo is ordering an increase of security at high profile locations throughout the state.
This move is in response to an attempted terrorist attack in Midtown Manhattan where a pipe bomb went off this morning. Cuomo says out of an abundance of caution law enforcement agencies will have a stepped up presence at airports, bridges, tunnels and mass transit systems. There will also be increased security at large public gatherings.
