(New York, NY) -- Preparations are underway for the big New Year's Eve celebration in New York City.
Yesterday, officials brought in the numbers one and eight that will go high atop Times Square when officials drop the ball to bring in 2018. However, they have some kinks to work out. Many of the 200-plus LED bulbs didn't light up when they tested the seven foot numbers.
Visitors can get their photos taken next to the big numbers through December 22nd.
