Governor Andrew Cuomo wants to criminalize revenge porn, forcing the people who post it online to register as sex offenders.
The "New York Post" says the governor will unveil his proposal in his upcoming State of the State Address. New York is one of a dozen states that haven't already made distributing revenge porn a crime. Cuomo's plan also outlaws what he calls "sextortion," or threatening someone into having non-consensual sex.
