It's peak travel time at New York area airports.
Six-million passengers are expected to fly out of LaGuardia, Kennedy, Newark and Stewart Airport near Newburgh now through New Year’s day. People are being told to allow extra travel time, especially at LaGuardia Airport where ongoing construction often causes traffic backups. Triple-A says it expects between 100 and 107-million people to travel over the holidays.
