(Buchanan, NY) -- Talks are expected to resume tomorrow between Indian Point workers and the nuclear plant's owner in an effort to reach a new contract deal.
Plant owner Entergy halted negotiations over the weekend and insisted on taking some time off from talking with the workers' union. Workers want Entergy to guarantee them work during Indian Point's shutdown process. Dozens of workers protested last week outside the plant, which is scheduled to start shutting down in 2021.
