Two NYC Children Die From The Flu

(New York, NY) -- Mayor Bill de Blasio is responding to the deaths of two New York City children during this relentless flu season.

He says parents must protect their children, and be constantly on the lookout for symptoms.  Adding he has the flu shot, he encouraged all New Yorkers who haven't already to get vaccinated. The mayor said anyone who's sick should call a doctor and stay home from work or school rather than risk spreading the disease. He warned how vital it is to quickly get children help when they start showing signs of the flu such as fever, chills, cough, aches and sore throat.
