Poughkeepsie set a daily record high temperature two days in a row.
The National Weather Service says the thermometer hit 76 degrees yesterday at 4:15pm breaking the previous record for February 21st of 67 degrees set in 1953. 76 degrees is also the highest temperature ever reached in Poughkeepsie in February. Also on Tuesday the thermometer at Poughkeepsie reached 66 degrees. That broke the previous record for that day of 63 degrees set two years ago.
