Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro looked back at his start in public service as Mayor of Tivoli as a measure of the level of personal service he works to bring to all county residents.
At his State of the County address last night at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, Molinaro talked about the Think Differently website that launched this week, his efforts to increase the financial stability of Dutchess County and the expansion of programs to address the opioid epidemic which claimed the lives of 85 Dutchess County residents last year. Many other topics were covered in the hour-long presentation.
“The State of Dutchess County is not the time I have spent speaking with you,” County Executive Molinaro told the audience. “The state of our county is you – it’s us. It is our dreams and labors, the steps we take, decisions we make, problems we solve and challenges we overcome, together.”
