Poughkeepsie residents will have more access to the Hudson River Waterfront once the Poughkeepsie Landing Project is complete.
Developer Joe Bonura Jr, of the Bonura Hospitality Group says the 13 acre project just south of Shadows Restaurant at the former DeLaval site will feature: green park spaces, an outdoor amphitheater, retail and dining establishments along with residential properties. The Public-private partnership will also lead to the creation of more than 400 free public parking spots along with restrooms open to the public.
The Bonura Hospitality Group will soon present their revised plans to the Poughkeepise Common Council. Once all the approvals are received, construction can begin immediately and should be completed in about nine months.
