(Albany, NY) -- Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro will officially launch his campaign for governor Monday.
In a video released this week, the Republican calls for more unity in Albany, saying the politics of today seem more focused on tearing others down. He is expected to kick off his run for governor Monday morning in Tivoli, where he was elected the youngest mayor in the country in 1995.
Syracuse State Senator John DeFrancisco and lawyer Joe Holland are also seeking the Republican nomination, while, on the Democratic side, actress and activist Cynthia Nixon is challenging Governor Andrew Cuomo.
