Allegiant Air Under Fire

Florida Senator Bill Nelson wants an investigation into the Federal Aviation Administration's handling of safety-related incidents involving Allegiant Air.

The low-cost airline was the subject of a scathing report on Sunday by "60 Minutes," which found that Allegiant planes had many mechanical issues. Breton Travel owner John Lovell says his travel agency tries to steer customers away from using Allegiant.  Allegiant offers several flights out of Stewart Airport near Newburgh.
