Movie Shot In Dutchess & Ulster County Is Back On Top


"A Quiet Place" returned to the top spot in the weekend box office race.

The horror flick filmed mostly in Dutchess and Ulster counties earned an estimated 22-million dollars in the U.S. and Canada. The film has made over 132-million dollars domestically since its release 17 days ago.  The movie, co-starring Emily Blunt and her husband John Krasinski, centers on a family that is stalked by creatures who hunt by sound.

 Location sites for the movie included Beacon, Pawling & New Paltz.
