(Silver Spring, MD) -- The FDA is warning e-cigarette makers that children are accidentally drinking vaping liquids.
Some of the toxic nicotine comes in kid-friendly packages that look like juice boxes and have cartoon images. There were more than eight-thousand accidental e-cigarette poisonings in children between 2012 and 2017.
The FDA says even small amounts of liquid nicotine could lead to cardiac arrest, seizure, coma and respiratory failure in children.
