Investigation Into Rush Limbaugh's Police Escort

(New York, NY) -- The Port Authority is investigating claims that its own officers gave Rush Limbaugh an improper police escort.

The radio host admitted on his own talk show that Port Authority police gave him a "lights and sirens" escort last month to beat rush hour traffic into Lower Manhattan. Limbaugh said they helped him get from Newark Airport to a charity dinner for the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation.

Former New Jersey Assemblyman John Wisniewski, who uncovered the Bridgegate scandal, says the escort was an abuse of Port Authority power.
