(Newburgh, NY) -- Two teen girls are facing charges following an incident in Newburgh where a younger girl was stabbed and police officers were threatened with a knife.
Police say cops came across a large group of girls at the Kenny Court Apartment Complex Saturday night, including an eleven-year-old girl who was stabbed in the arm. A 13-year-old girl was then tackled and taken into custody after she came at officers with a large kitchen knife and refused orders to drop the weapon. She is charged with menacing and a 14-year-old girl is charged with assault, as police search for another girl in connection with the incident.
