Convoy Headed To Dutchess County

A convoy is headed to Dutchess County tonight.

The NYS Department of Transportation is alerting motorists that slow moving vehicles with oversized loads are scheduled to begin arriving in Dutchess County tonight.  That will impact traffic mainly on Route 22 as the convoys bring equipment from the Port of Rensselaer through Columbia County to Dover in Dutchess County.

The transports will be escorted by the New York State Police and are scheduled for between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Forty-five convoys are scheduled between today and the end of the year.
