(New York, NY) -- Fleet Week kicks off tomorrow with its annual "parade of ships" up the Hudson River.
Hundreds of service men and women in the Armed Forces are sailing into New York City for festivities that run through Memorial Day. The 30th annual week includes tours of visiting ships, military demonstrations, Broadway performances, and hands-on activities at Pier 86 by the Intrepid. People can also check out Navy divers doing demonstrations in a tank in Times Square.
The Intrepid hosts its annual wreath laying ceremony on Memorial Day next Monday, which includes the unfurling of a 100-foot American flag.
