(Rhinebeck, NY) -- The annual Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival is going to launch from a new location.
In Rhinebeck yesterday Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Frank Castella said there will be expanded activities at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds when the Balloon Festival launches on July 6th. The three day festival will feature 25 balloons, along with carnival games, field games, helicopter rides, and Live Music.
Launching from the Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck “for the first time will enable the hot air balloons to fly in all directions – enabling 360 degree views.”
Castella says the Festival is still in need of volunteers to help with the many activities planned over the three days in July. All volunteers who work at least one shift will get a free Balloon Fest T-shirt and two tickets for the weekend events. More information is available at: www.balloonfesthv.com.
