(New York, NY) -- Sears is closing 72 more stores this year.
The retailer announced today it will begin closing sales in the near future. Sears' same-store sales have continued falling at a double-digit percentage. The company has burned through nearly five and-a-half billion dollars in cash over the past three years. Sears says it will come out with a list of the stores that will close later today. It was just last month that Sears closed the store in the Hudson Valley Mall near Kingston.
