(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- Three people are dead after a car plowed into a home in Dutchess County. State Police say the car lost control while going around a curve on Route 82 and Bulls Head Road in Stanford shortly before 11:00 last night. The vehicle then crashed into a tree before hitting the home's porch. The car, tree, porch and front of the home all caught fire.
No one in the home was hurt.

“The two front seat occupants of the vehicle were pronounced deceased on scene. A third occupant was airlifted to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The names are being withheld at this time pending notification to family members.Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the State Police in Poughkeepsie by calling (845) 677-7379.”
