Update 11:57 am
(Nyack, NY) -- The Tappan Zee-Gov. Mario M. Cuomo Bridge is back open after a tractor-trailer overturned this morning, completely shutting down the Westchester-bound side. Police say the truck collided with a construction vehicle and then rolled over around 5 a.m. The crash, which triggered a fuel spill, led to hefty delays and created a traffic nightmare for Rockland drivers trying to get to New York City. State Police announced around 9 a.m. that the bridge had reopened but residual delays continued for quite some time. There were no major injuries.
