(Southeast, NY) -- A Putnam County family is increasing their reward for information leading to an arrest in a deadly hit-and-run on I-84 in Connecticut earlier this year.
The body of 32-year-old Daniel Crawford Jr. was found on the westbound side near Exit 2 in Danbury in the early morning hours of April 7th, next to a Jeep that had been stopped on the right shoulder. Crawford's father believes his son ran out of gas before he was struck by a fleeing driver. The Southeast resident's relatives have doubled their reward to ten-thousand dollars in finding whoever is responsible.
