(Albany, NY) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo is continuing his bus tour aimed at rallying lawmakers to pass a so-called "red flag" gun bill.
Speaking at White Plains High School today, Cuomo said school shootings have become all too common and that parents shouldn't have to fear sending their children to school. Several Westchester leaders, including County Executive George Latimer, endorsed the bill.
The Red Flag Gun Protection Bill would empower police, teachers and family members towards petitioning a judge if they feel an individual in possession of a gun could be a danger.
