(Brooklyn, NY) -- It's a date in court in Brooklyn today for former "Smallville" actress Allison Mack who's facing charges for her alleged involvement in an upstate New York sex cult.
Mack has been free on bail following her April 20th arrest on forced labor and sex trafficking charges involving the alleged sex cult NXIVM [[ nexium]]. A man prosecutors say was the ringleader, Keith Raniere, is facing similar charges for allegedly branding, grooming and brainwashing women to take part in the cult. The trial is set to begin October 1st.
