(Albany, NY) -- Tuition at many SUNY schools, including SUNY New Paltz, is likely going to cost a bit more this fall. A tuition hike raising the cost of heading to school by 200-dollars for full-time students got a preliminary approval this week. Excelsior Scholarship students won't be affected.
Tuition was raised by the same amount last year. SUNY Trustees say the action on a tuition hike “is necessary in order for the State University to maintain program quality and access and to give appropriate notice of the increases to students, their families and financial aid providers.”
