(Albany, NY) -- Fifty years after being spelled the wrong way, the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge will soon be getting an extra 'z' so it'll be spelled correctly.
Officials estimate it'll cost four-million-dollars to correct more than 100 signs that have had the incorrect spelling since they were installed by the bridge's original contractor. "The New York Post" reports the State Assembly passed the bill yesterday to fix the spelling on the signs. It was previously passed by the state Senate. Governor Cuomo has indicated he will sign the measure into law.
