Fuzzy Math On NY Regents Exam

(Albany, NY) -- For the second year in a row there is a scoring glitch on the Regents geometry exam that was administered to thousands of high school students including in Dutchess and Ulster counties.

The New York State Department of Education says one of the questions on the exam had two possible correct answers and asked districts to carefully review the exam to make sure students got full credit for either answer. Last year, three questions had problems.
