(Woodstock, NY) -- Motorists in the Saugerties and Woodstock area could be facing delays over the next month.
The State D-O-T says that Route 212 between Route 375 in the town of Woodstock and Route 32 in the Town of Saugerties will have single lane closures with one-way alternating traffic, while crews perform paving activities. Weather permitting, work is expected to take place between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. beginning on Monday and continue through Friday, August 3.
“Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers. Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.”
